Book #6:
The Witch’s Boy by Michael Gruber. Lovely, lovely faerie tale. Slowly told with nods to about a dozen other tales. This is what The Brothers Grimm (yes, the movie) could have only dreamed of being. It had the danger and heartbreak that I thought was missing from The Unicorn Sonata. The writing is clear with good word choices and occasionally eclectic ones. The only thing that bugged me was that the ending was a little fast in coming, and maybe the change in the boy was too abrupt. I might have to look for this one to buy…next year.

It rained Saturday. Yay! Time to exchange high pollution levels with high pollen levels. I’m not complaining really. I was nice to run around in the mud a little yesterday. I plan on going through the neighborhood on my run today.

Much to do, so I should probably get on with it…
