Book #9 – Diablerie by Walter Mosley

Didn’t care for this book. I found it lacking; like it was a Bret Easton Ellis novel stripped of the frenzied litany of detail. The plot and the actions of the characters seemed to call for that heightened reality, but the setting was very sparse. It was just very flat and slow at getting into the plot. I kept with it because it was a fairly short novel and I was hoping for an interesting turn that never really occurred.
