…Reading?
I made a push to finish Christopher Sandford’s Houdini and Conan Doyle on Sunday. I should have my thoughts about it put together by Thursday. But with that out of the way, it’s pure R.I.P. for a while:

- The Moving Blade by Michael Pronko – I’m at about 60% and should finish later this week.
- A Long Fatal Love Chase by Louisa May Alcott – Pick from my TBR jar.
- The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassel by Alyssa Palombo – ARC.
- Gothic short stories! I might also have a post about the first half of my gothic reading on Wednesday or so.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Date!
…Listening To?
I’ve been listening to my Halloween master-list on random and this album from Collide has been played a lot.
You’re reading spooky books, too! Once the leaves start changing around here, I’m ready to get my spook on. I have a big stack of scary books to get through. Have a good week.
Forecast for tomorrow is rain and cooler temps. I’m crossing my fingers for an actually autumnal day. 😉
Sounds like you’re into the Halloween spirit already. With as fall like as it’s been around here, I should be feeling that way, too. I don’t like scary books unless they’re a little different, more psychological.
I’m glaring at the sun and wishing it was more fall-like. 🍂
